A half-full class is demoralizing and expensive, and the instinct is usually to advertise. Advertising is fifth on this list for a reason.

- Make joining low-risk: families can withdraw freely until the class starts.
- Advertise last, into a class that's ready for it.
1. Ask the families you already have
The fastest registrations you'll ever get come from a parent who already trusts you and has a friend asking where their child learned that. Ask directly; most won't think of it unless you do. Give them something to send: the class link.
2. Find out why people left
Not everybody will tell you, but enough will. Two or three honest answers are worth more than a month of guessing. The reason is often small and fixable: the time, the room, a fee structure nobody understood.
3. Fix the listing
Age range, price, schedule, class size, what they'll learn, who teaches it. A page missing three of those asks a family to write to you before they can decide, and most won't.
4. Make saying yes low-risk
A family hesitating over a new class is worried about being stuck. On Befundo they aren't: until the first meeting starts, a family can withdraw from the class page and the place goes straight away. Once it has started, they ask and you answer. Say so on your page. It's the reassurance a trial would give, without a trial to run.
5. Then advertise
By all means, but into a class that's well described and at a time that works. Advertising a class without those in place is paying to show more people something that isn't working. Your landing page and website widget give an ad somewhere good to land.
6. Consider that the class is wrong
Sometimes the time is wrong, the age range is too wide, or the town already has three of these. Merging two half-full classes into one good one isn't a defeat. It's usually the right call, and everybody's session gets better.
